Morgan Saint Is Both Strength and Sensitivity

Morgan Saint has dropped the song to ride out the rest of the summer. “Did You Lose Your Heart” is a love song, seeped in nostalgia and emotion.

The project has been in the making for some time, coming together in 2021. For Saint, the process of creating the track spoke volumes about her musical journey and discovering her sound within the (moody) pop genre.

While I’m so grateful for my moments of uproar, because they’ve taught me to be unafraid and have proven that I can stand up for myself, I’ve realized that I can be sensitive and strong at the same time and that that dichotomy is in fact what makes me uniquely me! My perspective can be heard loud and clear without me having to scream. I feel relieved, peaceful and more confident than ever. I hope you feel that in the music…

– Morgan Saint

With newfound confidence, the singer-songwriter dives headfirst into her music. In fact, Saint touches every aspect of production, playing many instruments herself and directing the music video.

So it’s no surprise that “Did You Lose Your Heart” has a very distinct style and that her music has become an extension of the singer herself. The sensitivity is there, touching on love and loss, but she also remains strong and steady in expressing her affections. Blue and nostalgic, synthesizers and catchy beats blend seamlessly with the harmony of Saint’s voice.

Want you to know that I cry for you
Every single day that I’m not with you
But you’re cold to the touch
No color left to your face

– “Did You Lose Your Heart”

Morgan Saint’s single is very much welcomed, following her EP in 2020, HELP. “Did You Lose Your Heart” is one of the many songs fans can look forward to as she continues to grow into her unique style. Make sure to follow her on Instagram and Spotify, as more is to come.
