Swiss Artist Chelan Makes Getting Over An Ex Look Fun in the Music Video for his single “Hailey”

Swiss singer-songwriter and producer Chelan brings to you a classic tale of getting over a toxic ex. His single “Hailey,” which will be part of his upcoming EP to be released later this year and features fellow collaborator Nemo, showcases influences of neo-soul, jazz and funk with indie pop for a touch of smoothness all the way through. It’s such a fresh track. I love the vocals and the cool aesthetic of the music video. The creative vision of the video has a very art pop feel to it, almost reminiscent of a Wes Anderson film. In the video Chelan’s friend helps him “get over it,” and he says, “I’m just gonna work it out.” It’s an admirable way to face the pain of the ending of a toxic relationship. There really is not other way to get through it than to get through it!
