Young & Sick (Nick van Hofwegen) is a Dutch multi-threat artist who hopes to make you dance a lot and cry a little as he croons to the soul. He attempted the traditional route of art through design school, but quickly dropped out due to its cookie-cutter leanings. Soon after, by a crux of fate, comedian Andy Dick came across a piece of Nick’s art and became his first client. Shortly after, Nick’s friend, Mark Foster, asked him to create artwork for his band – Foster the People – for their debut album, Torches, in 2011.

A prolific visual artist, Young & Sick, has made original artwork for partners like Bonnaroo Festival, President Obama & the White House Creative Alliance, Foster The People, Burton, The FADER, Rag & Bone, Mikky Ekko, T. Mills, Skrillex, MeUndies, Pringles, Fergie, and many more. Since releasing his 2014 self-titled debut album, he has played alongside artists like Chance The Rapper and The Knocks, was featured in an Apple Watch ad, and has played festivals including Coachella, Austin City Limits, and SXSW.
