On a cool evening in San Francisco, seven-member hip-hop/R&B-inspired girl group XG descended upon the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium for the first of two exhilarating nights, transporting their fans, ALPHAZ, into a galaxy of music, talent, and spectacle. From the moment the lights dimmed and the booming bass shook the walls, it was clear that the night would be unforgettable.

The show blasted off with a rock version of their hit “SHOOTING STAR,” with the members adorned in striking metallic costumes that shimmered under the brilliant lighting. XG dazzled the audience as they performed synchronized dance moves that showcased their training and precision. Lyrics for every song were displayed on the screens at the sides of the stage, allowing fans to sing along and fully immerse themselves in the performance.

One of the night’s emotional highlights came early on when a video played showing younger versions of the members discussing their dreams and the immense effort they’ve put into achieving them. Interspersed with behind-the-scenes footage of their rigorous training, the video gave a glimpse into their journey from hopeful trainees to international stars. The crowd responded with cheers of encouragement, connecting on a deeper level with the artists they had come to see.

The concert’s theme was rich with cosmic and galactic imagery, enhancing the feeling that XG was leading fans on a journey through space. A DJ interlude kept the crowd engaged while the members prepared for their solos, but it was Cocona who reignited the energy when she burst back onto the stage, delivering a rapid-fire rap that captivated everyone in the venue. Following her electrifying performance, Maya, Harvey, and Jurin each showcased their individual talents with their own unique rap covers, demonstrating their swag and confidence.

After their solos, the four rappers joined forces for a high-energy rendition of “Trampoline” by AFROJACK and David Guetta, elevating the atmosphere and leaving fans exhilarated.

The vocal unit, consisting of Hinata, Jurin, and Chisa, then took center stage to showcase their impressive vocal talents. Hinata delivered a stunning cover of Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me,” igniting a nostalgic sing-along among the audience. Meanwhile, Jurin and Chisa each performed their own covers, further demonstrating the versatility of the vocal unit. The three members then united for a breathtaking rendition of Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name,” highlighting their pitch-perfect harmonies and chemistry, which left the audience mesmerized and eager for more.

Following these stunning vocal performances, all members came together for a group performance of “MASCARA.” The track captivated the audience, blending powerful vocals and sharp choreography that left everyone in awe. The passion exuded by the members during this track resonated deeply with the crowd, who sang along with fervor, creating a memorable moment that showcased XG’s unique sound and talent. The performance was further enhanced by impressive pyrotechnics and psychedelic visuals that added an explosive visual element, thrilling the audience.

XG also delivered an R&B-esque version of “LEFT RIGHT,” showcasing their vocal versatility and stage presence. Throughout the night, XG’s professionalism and attention to detail were clear. From the insane ad-libs that left the audience in awe to the wind machines that gave the vocalists a true pop star moment, every part of the performance was meticulously planned. The members also engaged in chair and mic choreography, adding a dynamic layer to their stage presence.

As the night drew to a close, the energy in the auditorium was palpable. The audience cheered and sang along, fully immersed in the experience. Simon, the producer and visionary behind XG, deserves credit for helping mold the group into a powerhouse, along with Chancellor, whose influence could be felt in the polished, genre-defying sound.

To wrap up an incredible evening, the members teased their upcoming single “IYKYK,” now available on all streaming platforms, leaving fans buzzing with excitement for what’s next.
