WILLOW NEW SINGLE “CURIOUS/FURIOUS” OFF FORTHCOMING ALBUM
WILLOW’s new song “curious/furious” just dropped yesterday and it is the newest track off her latest album <COPINGMECHANISM>. WILLOW produced this song along with Chris Greatti following her explosive release lately I feel EVERYTHING. This new single is a reflection of WILLOW going through life of the “darkened forest” and feeling alone. Going more into the rock vibe rather than the pop punk style that she has been releasing, “curious/furious” has heavy raw raspy vocals, sick guitar strokes, letting the emotion really spill out. Releasing music since she was younger, WILLOW has really grown into her own developing a style that fits and really works for her. The New Yorker is calling her newest music easily the best and assured music of her career so far. This album is maximizing her talent, showcasing a lot of maturity. “Curious/furious” is another banger with deep relatable lyrics. It starts out with soft instrumental and Willow’s voice comes in and steals the show. Her voice is front and center feeling like she’s singing it live to you because of how strong and exposed it sounds.
“WILLOW’s gearing up to release her next album and it’s taking her in the direction of harder rock. She’s no stranger to heavy music, but that darkness is allowing WILLOW to explore other sides of herself as well.”
“I wanted to go for rock. I didn’t want to go for pop-punk. I didn’t want to go for what’s necessarily popular right now. I wanted to go for the heart of rock music, which to me is a deep outcry – maybe about pain, maybe about joy”
WILLOW has been on the road testing her new songs over the past few months on a major North American tour with Machine Gun Kelly. She recently released a live performance of “hover like a GODDESS” from Lollapalooza Chicago. She was nominated for “Best New Alternative Artist” at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards, and was named Billboard’s Greatest Pop Stars of 2021: Comeback Artist of the Year. This past week the singer also announced a performance at the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles on September 26. Tickets on sale HERE.
