VIOLET DAZE WRITES PERSONAL ELECTRO-POP SINGLE “PURPLE AND WHITE”
Sydney-based singer-songwriter Violet Daze has released her new single “Purple and White” as a personal love letter to herself after recovering from heartbreak. This is an electro-pop with flecks of indie sounds that Violet wrote to shed light about rediscovering yourself, the beauty of life and not letting the pain of the past prevent you from experiencing it. Violet learned that in the wake of a heartbreak can often come new opportunities to grow and this letter encourages her to surrender herself to the process. Very relatable and an experience every body goes through in their life either from a relationship or friendship. Violet’s vocals are crisp and ethereal with a nice high range that she holds throughout each lyric while the tracking carries her voice along.
Violet Daze has been compared to Maggie Rogers, Daughter and CHVRCHES in terms of sound/style. Violet has already turned many heads with her ability to create emotional, compelling and catchy records. She has received significant airplay on stations including triple J unearthed, 4ZZZ, FBI radio, For The Love of Bands and Artefaktor Radio. Violet has continuously worked with producer and recording engineer Billy Otto (Lawson Hull, JANEY, Maddy May), mastering engineer Ian Pritchett (Kim Churchill, Dusty Boots, Caravana Sun), and mixing engineer Caleb Harris, to create her summer soundscape woven together by heartbreak and self-discovery.
