Baltimore’s very own Bret Sears is coming in hot with his new electro pop single “Animal” sharing the story of being with someone you makes you feel the absolute worst about yourself. The lyrics are painting the story of someone who is just heartless, messing with emotions, carelessness resembling wild animal tendencies. This person was out for blood and Bret recognized this is not the kind of relationship he wants to be in.

“Animal” varies in showcasing the different moods displayed by Bret. The lyrics and melody has the softness and vulnerability but the tempo/hook brings the high energy, mind racing going through the emotions at a fast pace. The track brings feel good vibes and is the perfect song to hear at a festival with beaming lights that sync to the beat. Reminds me of similar popular artists The Chainsmokers and Jonas Blue.
