If you feel the ground shaking, don’t worry about ducking for cover. In fact, it’s probably better that you follow that feeling to your nearest club or music festival, because TYEGUYS just released their newest double sided single “LOCO/LET THE BASS GO.” The double release is a bass-heavy return for the duo, after their release of “Don’t Be Afraid” with LLLLNNNN and Hot Laundry earlier this year.

Based in Los Angeles, TYEGUYS is made up of two brothers who have quickly been making their presence known in the world of EDM. The two have been consistently producing singles since 2018, as well as making club appearances that quickly led to larger festival gigs such as EDC Las Vegas and Project Z. Their first and only album so far, From Us, to You was released in 2020, featuring seven of the duo’s quintessential hardcore dance tracks. That being said, fans will notice a clear evolution in their sounds that culminates in their most recent release.

While consistently sticking to a strong bass-driven sound for most of their discography, “LOCO/LET THE BASS GO” seem to take on a slightly darker edge than their previous releases. This departure is specifically distinct from their album, which played around with more playful mixes and tunes. Between the two tracks, “LOCO” is a slower build, working its way up to an intense, electronic and synth infused beat drop at the end. Working alongside this is “LET THE BASS GO” which stays with a more consistent, intense beat.

Together, the two tracks work hand-in-hand as heart-pounding additions to the EDM scene. Keeping the momentum going, TYEGUYS announced a new collaboration with TYRAZ called “WHO WE ARE,” expected to drop on July 21.
