Today, we’ve got wicked awesome news about a collab nobody had seen coming. Keep reading to know just what trio joined forces!

We’ve got some news that’s taking the rock scene by storm. “End of You” is a bone-chilling single from the minds of Poppy, Amy Lee of Evanescence, and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox. Before the drop, they teased the project in a joint cryptic Instagram photo that had them lined up clad in black. Following the track is a dark music video, giving gothic and rock visuals to the track that paints a clear picture of its own.

End of You” begins like fog rolling out into a field. Amy Lee’s voice echoes to the listener, soft and haunting, taking center stage as synths gently wave in the background. Her voice maintains this delicate touch as the lyrics build the intensity, finally releasing more energy as drums, guitar, and Lee’s voice start to punch through.

Poppy comes in the next verse, her vocals light with a hard edge as the instruments are in full swing. Eventually, LaPlante’s raging voice shatters into the song, adding a hard metal edge that further pushes the song into greatness. Finally, they all come together in the chorus, releasing anticipation and giving catharsis in a harmony that could rouse the dead.

Amy Lee is the co-founder of the two-time GRAMMY Award-winning rock band Evanescence. With five studio albums, the band took the world by storm, leaving a lasting impact on fans worldwide. Their 2003 debut album, ‘Fallen’, spent 43 weeks in the Billboard Top 10 and has sold more than a whopping 17 million copies worldwide. In 2021, their song “Better Without You” spent 27 weeks on US Rock Radio’s Top 10 chart.

Poppy is relatively new to the scene, but she’s cemented her place in rock music. She was the first-ever female solo nominee for Best Metal Performance back in 2021. Soon, she embarks on the second leg of her sold-out They’re All Around Us tour. Her style varies from snappy ’60s bubblegum to grunge-punk and even trap-pop. When it comes to executing a vision, Poppy has it down solid.

It doesn’t need to be said that Courtney LaPlante is a powerhouse of a vocalist who her band Spiritbox wouldn’t be the same without. Spiritbox is one of the most formidable and forward-thinking bands in the heavy music scene. Since the breakout success of their debut, they’ve been crushing charts and pushing genre boundaries. Known for their incredible live shows, they continue to deliver a visceral and immersive experience for fans across the world.

To say the trio is a match made in heaven is an understatement. Make sure to listen to the song and watch the music video for the full experience! Also, stay tuned and keep an eye out for more music news!
