The Pretty Wild continue to push their vision of modern metalcore forward with the official music video for “zero.point.genesis,” the title track from their latest album, zero.point.genesis, out now via Sumerian Records.
Sisters Jyl and Jules have spent 2026 expanding The Pretty Wild’s reach both onstage and through a sound that refuses to stay within traditional genre lines. Following their ShipRocked debut in January, the duo embarked on their first UK and European tour alongside Sleep Theory before returning to North America for a run that included dates with Bloodywood, Ladrones and Ankor.
Now, the “zero.point.genesis” visual brings listeners deeper into the world surrounding the record.
The Pretty Wild Bring ‘zero.point.genesis’ to the Screen
The official “zero.point.genesis” music video extends the atmosphere of the album’s title track into a visual counterpart, reinforcing the darker and more immersive identity The Pretty Wild have built around the project.
The track sits at the center of an album that blends the duo’s metalcore foundation with electronic textures, emotional lyricism and a distinctly genre-fluid approach. Rather than following the conventions of one corner of heavy music, The Pretty Wild continue to shape a sound around their own evolving creative identity.

The release arrives during a major year for the duo. After touring the UK and Europe with Sleep Theory, The Pretty Wild joined Bloodywood, Ladrones and Ankor for a North American run throughout the spring. Their 2026 schedule also brought them to stages including 98Rockfest, WJRR Earthday Birthday and Sonic Temple Art & Music Festival.
A Breakout Year for The Pretty Wild

The Pretty Wild have accumulated more than 37 million career streams while steadily building their presence within modern heavy music. Their music pairs aggression with vulnerable lyricism, while their larger creative identity explores individuality, authenticity and the rejection of traditional expectations.
That momentum has also carried the sister duo onto increasingly prominent festival stages. In addition to their Sonic Temple appearance in Columbus, their 2026 festival schedule includes international appearances at Download Festival in the UK and Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium.
With zero.point.genesis, The Pretty Wild have another opportunity to introduce listeners to the full scope of the world they have created.
