August is bringing plenty of reasons to start filling up the calendar. From new albums and major tours to a pop-punk cruise built for fans who never left the scene behind, this month’s announcements stretch well beyond the end of summer.
Five Finger Death Punch are celebrating 20 years with Legacy, Keath Ósk is stepping into a new era ahead of Foreword, and Shattered Shores is preparing to take alternative music to sea. Matt Hansen is expanding Orchid this fall, while The Maine are mapping out another run across the U.S. and Europe.

Five Finger Death Punch Celebrate 20 Years With Legacy
Twenty years into their career, Five Finger Death Punch have no plans to ease off the gas. The Las Vegas hard rock band released their 10th studio album, Legacy, digitally on July 31 via Better Noise Music.
The 10-track record includes “Eye Of The Storm,” which earned the band their 18th No. 1 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart, alongside the newly released “Nails In The Coffin.” Founding guitarist Zoltan Bathory calls Legacy the record that best represents the essence of Five Finger Death Punch and reflects how far the group has come without abandoning its signature sound.
The celebration continues on the road with the band’s 20th Anniversary World Tour. Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire join the North American run, which continues through Oct. 23. Five Finger Death Punch will then head overseas in early 2027 alongside Lamb Of God and Bleed From Within.
The tour also extends its impact beyond the stage. A portion of ticket sales from the 2026 North American dates will support high-performance programs for U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes ahead of the Los Angeles 2028 Games.
Legacy is available digitally now, while CD, vinyl and cassette editions arrive Sept. 18.

Keath Ósk Begins a New Chapter With “And the Hound”
For Keath Ósk, a familiar song now marks a completely new beginning.
The artist behind the multimedia folk project Yaelokre has released “And the Hound,” the first single from their forthcoming debut album under the Keath Ósk name, Foreword.
Rather than leaving Yaelokre’s music behind, Ósk uses Foreword to revisit it from a more personal perspective. “And the Hound” expands its original acoustic foundation with new lyrics, shifting vocals, world-music rhythms and a desert-noir brass backdrop. Ósk says the song remained a personal favorite from the Yaelokre catalog and continued evolving each time they revisited it.
Arriving Sept. 4 via Atlantic Records, Foreword features 12 tracks and gives Ósk room to reshape familiar material with brass, woodwinds and influences spanning alt-pop, hip-hop and jazz. The album also includes their interpretation of “Holding Out for a Hero.”
Ósk will follow the release with a world headline tour beginning Oct. 7 in Europe. North American dates start Nov. 9 in Orlando and include New York City’s Webster Hall on Nov. 22 and Los Angeles’ Fonda Theatre on Dec. 15.

Shattered Shores Takes Pop-Punk and Emo Out to Sea
Pop-punk and emo are heading for open water.
Shattered Shores will launch its inaugural music cruise Sept. 9 through 13, 2027, aboard the Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, traveling to Taino Bay in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
3OH!3, New Found Glory and Cobra Starship lead the inaugural lineup, with Jaret Reddick of Bowling For Soup joining as a special guest. The bill also features Breathe Carolina, Cartel, Hey Monday, The Summer Set, MOD SUN, nothing,nowhere., Stand Atlantic, Plain White T’s, Four Year Strong, Hot Chelle Rae, LØLØ, Broadside, Charlotte Sands, Winona Fighter, As December Falls and more.
Shattered Shores grew from Whet Travel’s Taking Back Emo events and Groove Cruise takeovers. Alongside live performances, organizers plan artist panels, hosted dinners, fan activations, wellness programming and additional artist-led experiences.
Idobi Summer School Festival and So What? Music Festival will also curate exclusive experiences onboard, with additional artists and programming still to come.

Matt Hansen Expands the World of Orchid
Matt Hansen isn’t finished with Orchid just yet.
Following a summer that saw his debut album surpass one billion streams and debut at No. 6 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut USA chart, Hansen has released “Unspoken” as the latest preview of Orchid (Deluxe).
The expanded project arrives this September and builds on an album that includes “LET EM GO,” “something to remember” and “yellowstone.” Hansen also recently reached another career milestone with his national television debut on The TODAY Show.
This fall, he will take the album on the road with The Orchid Tour, including a Nov. 17 stop in New York City and a Dec. 11 date in Los Angeles.

The Maine Take Their Live Show Across the U.S. and Europe
The Maine have another busy stretch of touring ahead as the band prepares for shows across the U.S. and Europe.
The next run begins Aug. 20 at La Rosa in Tucson, followed by Anaheim on Aug. 21 and Sacramento on Aug. 22. The band heads overseas in September for dates across Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and the U.K., including London’s Roundhouse on Sept. 25.
The Maine will return stateside in November for another string of shows beginning Nov. 5 in Newport, Kentucky. Stops in Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Baltimore, Allentown and Montclair follow before the announced schedule wraps Nov. 14 at The Palladium in Worcester, Massachusetts.
With dates spanning two continents and the remainder of the year, fans have several chances to catch The Maine before 2026 comes to a close.

Pretty Lights Take Yahn Dawn on “A Trip Thru Time”
Pretty Lights are turning the second edition of Yahn Dawn into a journey through the past, present and future of the project’s catalog.
Returning to Meadow Creek in Buena Vista, Colorado, from Sept. 18 through 20, Yahn Dawn expands to three days for 2026. This year’s festival also introduces “A Trip Thru Time,” a weekend-long concept inspired by Pretty Lights’ new album, A Trip Thru Time Fantastic.
The journey starts Sept. 17 for Early Arrival pass holders with an opening DJ set from Pretty Lights founding members Derek Vincent Smith and Michal Menert. From there, Pretty Lights will headline all three festival nights with live performances designed to chronologically explore different eras of the catalog, moving between fan favorites, deep cuts and new material.
Beyond the headlining sets, Yahn Dawn brings an eclectic electronic lineup to the Colorado mountains. LP Giobbi leads Friday with a special Dead House set alongside MADHAUS, Mikey Thunder and more. Saturday features Emancipator, Thought Process, Pheel and WeSelects, while Gramatik, RJD2, Saturna and others close the festival Sunday.
The weekend will also feature wellness programming, live art installations and experiential elements as Yahn Dawn continues building its community-focused festival experience.

Decadence Arizona Flips the Hourglass on 2026
Decadence Arizona is preparing to send off 2026 with two nights of electronic music as Sands of Eternity takes over Phoenix Raceway on Dec. 30 and 31.
The festival’s first lineup phase brings together Beltran, BUNT., Chris Lake, Eli Brown, I Hate Models, ISOxo, KETTAMA, Levity, The Masquerade, Max Dean b2b Luke Dean, RØZ, SLANDER and Wankdat, the collaborative project from Crankdat and Wooli. Organizers will reveal additional artists and a special countdown set in the coming weeks.
Presented in partnership with Global Dance, the 12th annual Decadence Arizona will also bring back its Weird and Wonderful performers alongside large-scale production and activations throughout the festival grounds.
The two-night event will once again turn New Year’s Eve into a full festival experience, giving dance fans one final celebration before the clock runs out on 2026.

Tape B Brings the Bass to Rawhide Event Center
Tape B is bringing his blend of old-school hip-hop influences and dubstep to Arizona for a one-night event at Rawhide Event Center on Aug. 29.
Presented by Relentless Beats and its bass-focused Low End Lab brand, the show pairs Tape B with special guest G Jones. Wink, Beastboi and Dr. Ushuu round out the night’s supporting lineup.
The Arizona date arrives as Tape B continues a busy second half of 2026. The producer recently released Vibe Check Vol: 3, which combines tour favorites with new material, and teamed up with Zeds Dead and Subtronics on “Word Scramble.”

RENEW Brings Wellness Back to the Dance Floor
Same Same But Different Festival and Almost Nakey are bringing RENEW back to San Diego on Nov. 15, combining a day of wellness and movement with an evening of electronic music.
Following its inaugural August event, RENEW will return to Fit Social Club in Mission Beach with Tchami headlining the second edition alongside nostalgia and LYRAH.
Rather than separating wellness from nightlife, RENEW builds both into the same experience. Attendees can expect fitness classes, yoga, breathwork, cold plunges, saunas, massage therapy, wellness vendors and games before the venue transitions into an open-air concert setting.
The concept follows the nearly sold-out debut, where guests participated in wellness programming throughout the day before performances from DJ Susan, ERO808 and Big Gigantic carried the event into the evening. The November edition continues the event’s mission to make wellness feel more communal and accessible without losing the energy of a music festival.

Lights All Night Will Close 2026 in Dallas
Lights All Night is preparing to close another year with two packed nights of electronic music as the festival returns to Fair Park in Dallas on Dec. 30 and 31.
The newly revealed daily lineups divide a wide-ranging roster across the festival’s two nights. Tiësto, Gryffin, I Hate Models and KETTAMA lead the Dec. 30 lineup, which also features GG Magree, Josh Baker, Ian Asher, William Black, BEAUZ and more.
On Dec. 31, Chris Lake and Subtronics will help usher fans into 2027 alongside Skull Machine, the collaborative project from Black Tiger Sex Machine and Kai Wachi. ATLiens, Marie Vaunt, Ninajirachi, LEVEL UP, YØU$UKE YUK1MAT$U and more will also perform before the festival’s signature New Year’s Eve countdown.
The 2026 edition marks Lights All Night’s 16th anniversary and its return to Dallas’ Fair Park for the first time since 2012. The 277-acre National Historic Landmark will provide the backdrop for two nights of performances, immersive production and the midnight celebration that has helped make Lights All Night a longstanding Texas New Year’s Eve tradition.
Fans can choose between single-day admission or the complete two-night experience.
