On October 1st, New York-based Filipino trio The Braganza Sisters released their latest single, “Into You.” Teaming up with producer Slowsie, “Into You” is a bedroom pop masterpiece. The instrumental is dreamy, the vocals are moving (particularly when there are harmonies involved), and the lyrics are fantastic. They’re the right amount of nostalgic and forward-thinking.

The instrumentation has everything I would look for in a bedroom pop song: lightly distorted guitars, a funky bass line, solid drums with the “and-4” claps, an odd mini key change in the verses… It’s all here. Slowsie did a phenomenal job with the instrumental and the production. The stars, though, are obviously The Braganza Sisters.

The vocals on this are absolutely incredible. The melodies are infectious, the harmonies are gorgeous, and the way they blend with the instrumentation is flawless. Sometimes they might seem a bit buried, but not enough to be distracting. They are the perfect mix of modern and nostalgic. There’s not really anything negative I could say about these vocals. The lyrics are also great for the style, but they could literally be singing anything with these vocal lines and I would still feel the same way. Incredible stuff here.

Definitely give “Into You” a listen below, and let us know what you think!
