About their newest single “Jealous,” The Aces say,
“‘Jealous’ is about being the coolest person in the room. That often comes with adoration and envy, and we wanted to paint the picture of having unshakable confidence throughout all of it.”
~ The Aces

The track instantly hooks the listener, making them move to the rhythm with its catchy beat. The song lands with its feelgood vibes, guaranteeing a great time. Lyrically, it celebrates confidence undeniably owning the mantle of cool. In line with the title of the song, she knows that you’re jealous of her coolness and the attention she gets and plays with you. Mischievously, she dances around you, being an expert of her game and already knowing all the questions like,
“How do you walk, do you talk so cool?
Where’d you get your hair cut?
Where’d you get those tattoos?”~ Jealous
However, she goes beyond just that, showing pity and slight annoyance at the attempts to imitate her and to copy her style. She basks in the attention and jealousy, knowing full well that she doesn’t need to prove herself, since she is the coolest in the room already.
Alongside the song, The Aces released a fresh lyric video, adding just a breeze of extra coolness.
