Bad Intentions is an ambitious producer duo from the Czech Republic that is ready to bring their unique music production and sound engineering experiences into the modern electronic music scene. The project started in 2020 when Josef and Edvin began working on new projects in the studio different. With a desire to be different and unique, they set out to make music that will hit listeners in the right way, allowing us to feel an inconspicuous sensuous expression and undertone throughout the project. After producing 16 demo recordings through March and April of last year, their team has chosen five top songs to release this year.
“Take Your Time” is the first release of this year, not to mention the first-ever release from the duo, and it gives listeners a taste of the musical flavors and tones that are yet to come. It’s a high-energy track with a hypnotizing bassline that is reminiscent of 2 AM on the dance floor of a dark club. The pulsating beat is accompanied by fleeting and minimal vocals, keeping the focus of the track on the electronic production. Even when the single verse, which repeats “take your time with me,” is inserted about halfway through the track, it’s still driven by the up-and-down oscillations of the bass. This song is a brilliant introduction from the duo, who will surely be able to hold us over with more tracks until we can get back on the dance floors.
