SUECO’S FUNERAL OUT NOW

September is quite a unique month if you come to think of it. It’s the tail end of summer which means it’s hot (kinda) but also the beginning of fall so there’s that cool weather blowing through you. A mixed bag of sights and sounds, we could say that this month is merely a bridge for something better just like Wednesday – a steppingstone to the weekend. But while it is that way, it is in times like this that we should take extra care to stop and look around. Enjoy our surroundings and the people we share them with all the more because there’s that lurking temptation to just go on cruise control. That’s how life is especially when you’re constantly living in the fast lane. Vroom vroom!

But with life comes death, an inescapable force that’ll claim us all in the end. It doesn’t matter what your background or bank account may display, we all perish like that milk you just consumed. In that same vein, Sueco’s latest single “Funeral” gives us a glimpse of the inevitable. That one day, we will all lay cold six feet under as people look on with a range of varying emotions. Chilling yes, but it’s meant to be that way. A sterling reminder that we’re going to face the music, regardless of how prepared we are – “It’s a perfect day for a funeral. It’s such a nice view when you’re six feet down.”.

Released September 2nd on all streaming platforms, “Funeral” is produced by longtime collaborator Colin “DOC” Brittain (5 Seconds Of Summer, All Time Low, Papa Roach, Sum 41). This also marks a set of five brand new songs featured on “It Was Fun While It Lasted (Deluxe)” which comes out September 16th. Accompanying all these, this pop punk anthem also comes bundled with an eerie lyric video that creeps on you and weaves through your ear holes seamlessly. Making you realize that hey, death has an attractive side too just like how Thanos was enamored with his Lady Death.
