Sueco Takes Sacramento on “It Was Fun While It Lasted” Tour

Sitting nestled in Midtown, Sacramento, an intimate setting such as Harlow’s glowed in the pale moonlight as Halloween decorations littered the halls and the back patio. Neon lights lit the way around the venue and a stage sat nestled perfectly in view.

“I can already tell this is going to be a great night,” Sueco had joined the stage with a roar from the crowd. Supporting the release of his debut album after a quick rise to success, he joined fans on the road around the United States, to continue throughout the rest of fall.

The tangibility of the energy permeated throughout the crowd, and they all bathed in the intoxicating experience in witnessing a star rising to fame. Fans crowded in as close as they could manage to take it all in as Sueco engaged with everyone he could as if they were family and close friends. With no barricade, the performance immediately became more personal to them. All as Sueco and the band leaned in to the audience and allowed them to become just as much a part of the show as they were.

And it was something we all sensed; that closeness. Sueco even commented about it during the performance:

This show isn’t about me. It’s about you and making sure we have a good time.

As the performance intensified and progressed, Sueco pulled out a hand crafted board, made “just for crowd surfing,” and fans took turns passing the vocalist through the crowd as dollar bills flew onstage in support of him and his work.

“The Sueco show is now the Magic Mike show,” he laughed. And the performance commenced late into the night…
