LAURA LIZCANO SHARES NEW SELF-REFLECTION SINGLE “QUIET LOVE”

Colombian-born singer/songwriter Laura Lizcano has released a raw intimate track all about self-love and acceptance. “Quiet Love” is powerful song that came from of lots of evaluation and self-reflection during the pandemic. This is Laura’s third track listed on her new album Daughter of the Sea. The album is an internal look into the singer’s life addressing a wide variety of topics. A beautiful soft ballad all about accepting ones “imperfections.” Laura goes through the motions of discovering these new feelings of loving your body then welcoming that feeling in. She comes to terms with what she thinks are her flaws and her being comfortable with herself. That little voice in your mind is quiet, showering you with reminders of your beauty and the acceptance doesn’t need to come from a partner but it does help when they love you for everything you are. Having that self-love is so powerful and a feeling no one can take from you. Laura does an excellent job executing this message not only to herself but for anyone who listens.

“I wrote “Quiet Love” when I discovered my first gray hair. I’ve always had a difficult relationship with my body and I’ve been afraid of aging, so I really wanted to change the narrative here and I wrote this song as a love letter to myself.”
