Strange Familia Reflects on the Past with Newest Single, “Yesterday: a ballad about yesterday”

Indietronica group, Strange Familia, released their capturing single, “Yesterday: a ballad about yesterday” and its pairing lyric video, on Jun. 2, after officially breaking from their three-year hiatus. 

After breaking out of their three-year hiatus, this track reflects on a period of time where life felt stagnant for the group. “Yesterday: a ballad about yesterday,” draws listeners in with funky, rhythmic beats and vulnerable lyrics that share the experience of feeling stuck. 

What feels most important about this single is the ease of the chorus. It reminds listeners that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.  

Lead singer, Garrett Williams shares:
