Splash House will be closing out its 10th season in the coming weeks with back-to-back weekends of house and techno music across three hotels. Weekend one is August 11-13 and weekend two is August 18-20, and both promise to be quite the party. After all, what more can you ask for when it comes to summertime fun than sun-driven beats?
If you’re attending weekend one, the stage lineups were released yesterday. If you need some help making up your mind on who to see, here are my eight recommendations…and I’m splitting them up across all three stages, so maybe it won’t help you decide where to be.

Wax Motif
It’s so hard to not recommend Wax Motif whenever I see his name on a lineup, so I’m just going to go ahead and do it because his sets are some of the best times. Inspired by a multitude of genres, like R&B, disco, and UK bass, Wax has such a unique sound that makes for an even more unique listening experience. He loves playing with high-octane basslines, shifting between what you would normally expect from a house set but also throwing in fun effects and embellishments that guarantee a set unlike any other. He also often throws in popular samples and sound bites that you’ll certainly be able to sing along to.
Anna Lunoe
Anna Lunoe is one of those artists who has long been on my radar but I’ve never had the opportunity to see her, so of course she’s making this list. She has long since established herself as a premiere producer in the Australian dance scene, known for the playful way she incorporates vocals into her productions. Anna’s music reflects the way she finds comfort in breaking boundaries – she experiments to bring innovative and progressive textures to the forefront. Her songs are definitely club-ready and I look forward to that energy in a few weekends.

Disco Lines
While he may be a fresher face to the scene, Disco Lines has already made quite the splash with his high-energy, feel-good originals and remixes. He enjoys mixing sped-up vocal samples with dance beats that don’t conform to any one genre. Having learned music production from YouTube and a wide-ranging variety of musical influences, Disco Lines has covered everything from future bass to tech house to melodic and has even been influenced by the grittiness of UK garage and drum ‘n’ bass. This set will be one that will undoubtedly keep the party going.
Aluna
Many of us became familiar with Aluna when she was part of the duo AlunaGeorge, but over the last few years, she has focused on her solo career as she strengthens her many skills – singing, producing, and DJing, among others. Most importantly, Aluna is proud to be a Black woman in the dance world who is unapologetically carving space for herself and others like her, regularly pulling inspiration from African house. She embeds her beliefs in the power of music – to shift us towards a positive and high-energy future – into her tracks, cultivating feelings of euphoria on the dance floor. You’ll feel rejuvenated after her set and I know you’ll be introduced to new sounds.
Jaden Thompson
A rising star in the U.K. house scene, Jaden Thompson makes groovy music that has some seriously sweet poolside vibes, which makes it a perfect fit for a Splash House weekend. With a primary focus on how to keep a crowd’s attention for an hour and a half or two hours – the usual set runtime for house and techno music – Jaden keeps things interesting by switching up the energy of his sets. He might start with more laid-back tunes and softer undercuts and then amps up the tempo to create more movement within his beats and the crowd. The crowd is the one who decides where the energy flows, so be sure to turn up for the experience.

LP Giobbi
I’ve recommended LP Giobbi many times before and am happy to continue recommending her because she’s one of those artists who is joyful to the bone and infectiously so. I first became aware of LP Giobbi in 2021 and have seen her in so many different environments over the last two years and continue to be pleasantly blown away by her sets. She brings so much energy onto the stage as she dances away in front of her piano, radiating her love of what she does out into the crowd. You won’t be able to stop yourself from laughing and dancing.
DJ Minx
Another DJ and producer who is also all about elevating the ladies in the scene is DJ Minx, who was born and raised in Detroit, the birthplace of techno music in the States. Referred to as “The First Lady of Wax,” DJ Minx has a varied range of production sounds that will keep listeners on their toes as she traverses from deep and minimal to boisterous and funky. She warmly embraces the electronic components of techno to craft sets that will keep you moving and grooving while pulling you back to the reality that is the dance floor around you.
Tini Gessler
A core member of the Elrow family, Tini Gessler has long been turning heads and ears with her unique blend of deep and tech-house sets. Her global rise over the last few years has been particularly meteoric and it’s easy to see why – she draws inspiration from her life experiences, like her deep passion for nature as well as her worldly travels, so her sound is one that is accessible and relatable to many people. She defines art as something that can bring forth emotion, particularly joy, and spreads that artistry all across the dance floors that she is now traversing, including Tomorrowland. It’ll be a treat to see Tini at Splash House with all of her international travels hitting a recent high note.
Whether you decide to stay at one hotel (stage) or rotate between them via the shuttle, you will absolutely have an amazing time! I know I’m excited to dance through Palm Springs!
