Dune Moss releases her first track “Shake the Ground” off her upcoming second album. “Shake the Ground” starts with a quiet invocation lead by Dune’s’ captivating vocals soaring over a minimalist sync-based soundscape. Quiet synths continue to build throughout the track and culminate in an exploitive war cry as Dune Moss screams “I will shake the ground!” It has a haunting eerie vibe but also so powerful that it’ll send shivers down your spine. Dune’s vocals are absolutely stunning as she carries the powerful message of rising up from the ashes. It is intimate, personal and simply enchanting. Dune wrote this track during a time of profound depression, however she doesn’t believe depression is either good or bad. She tries to acknowledge her pain instead of resisting it as that will cause the feelings to bottle up until you explode. A very beautiful and inspiring track a really showcases the energy that Dune Moss embodies.
