Shambhala, Canada’s largest, longest-running independent music festival, has officially sold out tickets for the 2025 season in just 24 hours. Founded in 1998, this annual event brings nearly 20,000 individuals and 200+ artists to Salmo River Ranch for four days of diverse electronic music.
“With the event landscape being as challenging as it is, we’re profoundly thankful for the outpouring of support from our community this past weekend,” said Neil MaxLeod, CEO of Shambhala Music Festival. “For the second year in a row, to be sold out of all tickets in under 24 hours is incredible. It’s a testament to the loyalty of our guests, the passion of the talented artists who grace our stages, and the hard work and dedication of every Shambhala Crew member who helps bring the farm magic to life.”
Shambhala has also released its 25th Anniversary Aftermovie, a short film that encapsulates the natural beauty of Salmo, British Columbia and the intense passion of each festival-goer.
Aside from its unique, 500-acre farm location, Shambhala prides itself on its world-class harm reduction services. Each year, the festival provides comprehensive drug testing, world-class medical teams and an array of safe spaces for guests, crew and artists. The festival also rejects both corporate sponsorship and alcohol on the premises. Further, they acknowledge and respect the Syilx, Sinixt and Ktunaxa Nations on which their farm lives.

The next Shambhala Music Festival will take place on July 25-28, 2025. Although tickets are sold out, determined fans should check out the Tickets and Lodging Waitlist form. Festival fans are also strongly encouraged to apply to join the 2025 Crew. As a Shambhala crew member, one can receive a GA ticket, exclusive Shambhala Music Festival apparel, specialized crew camping options and more.
Stay tuned for the 26th Shambhala Music Festival lineup!
