Joining us just after a full first day at the Aftershock Festival, Seether took the Ace of Spades stage to celebrate the release of their brand new album, a career-spanning album of platinum-selling hits called Vicennial – 2 Decades of Seether, coming into the world on October 15th.
The music world is back, filled with a new soul from each member of the band who played the crowd and set them at ease to wrap up an entire day of heavy-hitters old and new. Just over a mile away from where Aftershock takes place (Discovery Park), Ace Of Spades is known as one of the top venues of the city… featuring night after night of sold out events.
To celebrate the album (including 16 #1 chart positions), the South African band performed all 20 tracks live in sequence at the Ace of Spades Aftershock Festival after party on Oct 7 — following their Aftershock performance on Friday, Oct 8 at 6pm on the KOLAS stage. The venue was packed to the brim featuring a full film crew who shared the performance for all to see.

Seether played the classic hits with a renewed fire after not being able to perform for nearly two years. And in celebration of twenty years, this performance is very special to all the fans who get to be the first to witness the full, two hour set-list in real life.
Containing a series of vivid imagery and storytelling vocals, Seether offered up their performance to the crowd who listened intently and swayed along to every word. The guitars harmonized beautifully with the vocals, drummer hitting each beat that the audience could feel within their very core.
On Friday, October 8th, the band will be taking the KOLAS stage and play to the full Aftershock crowd. But this audience is the very first, and they get to hold that memory forever in their hearts.
Stay tuned for more updates regarding Seether, and the Aftershock Festival!
