In honor of the announcement for their newest album, To Only A Few At First, Royal Coda dropped not just one, but two singles. The two singles, “We Slowly Lose Hope For Things To Come” and “Screen Time Overload,” were released alongside a music video and visualizer, respectively.

The first single, “We Slowly Lose Hope For Things To Come,” is a music video that focuses on the band rocking out, with Will Swan, Sergio Medina, and Steffen Gotsch on guitar while Joseph Arrington keep up the high-energy tempo on the drums. The song itself is dynamic as it switches between a more hardcore sound and then dips into a slower tempo, reflecting the band’s experimental rock sound. Kurt Travis’ vocals versatility is on full display as he goes from starting the song with screams to singing with intermittent rapping throughout the song. Overall, a great song to add to any workout playlist, or for just getting hyped in general.

The second single released by the band was “Screen Time Overload,” alongside a visualizer featuring the album art for To Only A Few At First. Along with its dynamic music composition with the varying tempo changes and a killer opening full of heavy drums and guitar, “Screen Time Overload” continues to showcase the members’ talent, such as Kurt’s vocals and the guitar playing from Will, Sergio, and Steffen.

Right now, Royal Coda is finishing up touring as they support Dance Gavin Dance on their An Evening With Friends tour, along with support from Body Thief. For more information on the remaining tour dates and tickets, check out Royal Coda’s Official Website.
