Last year, American DJ and producer, RL Grime, announced the creation of his label, Sable Valley. RL Grime is well known for his outstanding trap music, so with the label announcement, it was safe to assume that we would be getting a meshing of trap and heavy bass artists.
And this first album does not disappoint.
Our first full length album is offficially out now. One of the main goals for Sable Valley has always been to spotlight up and coming artists that I believe in, and this compilation is a testament to that. Sending big love to all the incredible people involved with this project pic.twitter.com/FoLznYw22z

The album starts off with the previously teased collaboration between RL Grime and Whethan, “Outta Here”, and sets the stage for the other heavy hitter tunes released in this compilation. RL Grime also included his edit of “Swoopin” by Bauuer, who is also known for his hip-hop inspired trap. Other than those two songs, RL Grime took a backseat on this tracklist, taking this as an opportunity to showcase other staple and up-and-coming artists in the trap scene.
Over the course of 15 songs, every single artist displays raw and unhindered talent – whether they have already established their place in the scene, like HOLLY and Heimanu (who offers a beautiful ending to the album with his highly anticipated release of “Worlds”), or fresh newcomers, like Knock2 and JAWNS. The songs shift from the dark and deep power normally associated with trap to more melodic-influenced sound production, exploring the boundaries of bass and trap music as we know it.
The full album is available on all streaming platforms. And as with all new releases, accompanying merch is also available online.
