Jamaican born and raised, Rizk (Rih-Zick) is a new RnB/Pop artist based in Atlanta, GA. Rizk provides listeners with a new take on established genres. With a strong, breathy presentation, he shines on R&B, pop, dancehall, EDM, Afro beats and pop trap rhythms.
Part of the three part male vocal group Sound Proof (along with OddOneOut and Chris Lee), Rizk has performed, written and co-produced a variety of styles. Taking influence from modern stars like Drake and The Weeknd, Rizk uses his Jamaican heritage to blend the influence with island sounds similar to the likes of Sean Paul and Machel Montano. His broad taste in music, raging from ABBA to Third World to Seal, provides even more range for him to include in his sound. With an artist like Rizk, the audience is in for a mix of styles that most anyone can connect with.
Chris Lee isn’t a singer who acts or an actor who sings. He’s both always, a holistic, expressive artist and creator. Growing up in a house of music, Chris was singing before he was speaking. The son of a worship leader (his mother) Chris found his musical footing singing in the church and teaching himself drums, piano and guitar in the supportive sanctuary of his musically encouraged home. He would then move to Nashville, like Rizk, to study musical theatre at Belmont University, cutting his time short to join the Chicago cast of the immensely popular show Hamilton, stepping into the neo-historical shoes of Lafayette and Thomas Jefferson. This opportunity led to reoccurring roles on Empire, The chi, and a series regular role on CW’s Legacies.
