After a record-setting year, Relentless Beats immediately set out to show they had no intentions of slowing down in the new year. Seizing an opportunity to move the Arizona date of Sutronics – The Fractal Tour to Gila River Arena, Relentless Beats put into motion what would be the first headlining arena show for Subtronics and his fans.
From a kid who loved playing drums to a high schooler who discovered dubstep to now a world-touring producer that makes, in his words, “beep boop music,” Subtronics (Jesse Kardon) has an army of fans from all over the globe – CYCLOPS ARMY. He has graced festival stages such as Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, and many more along with headlining sold-out events at venues like Red Rocks, Aragon Theatre, Hollywood Palladium, and of course, Gila River Arena.
Ahead of this sold-out show, Relentless Beats sat down with the producer to discuss his history, the appeal of his collaborations, his unrelenting work ethic, taking the step to release his album, and the journey that brought him to headlining his own arena show.
Headlining my first arena in Arizona was an insanely awesome experience. I am super thankful everyday that this is my job. I remember all of the empty rooms I played in over the years, so to have my events in areas and places like Red Rocks is beyond surreal.
This is the second in The Relentless Pursuit mini-doc series, which profiles artists with the passion and drive to achieve their goals, regardless of the challenges. The first installment featured Decadon after a massive set at Decadence Arizona 2019, where he delves into how he seamlessly blends rock and EDM. Relentless Beats has plans for future installments in the series.
