RED Joins Forces with Starset in Sacramento’s Ace of Spades

Nearing twenty years as a project, rock band, RED, is back on tour along with Starset to celebrate the release of their 2020 release, Declaration, at last. After over two years off the road due to the pandemic, the world as we know it is continuing at a rapid pace, as are the return of live shows.

We joined the band in Sacramento’s Ace of Spades on Friday, June 3rd. As the third time seeing them, they not only never fail to disappoint, but continue to top each performance as the years go by…

Brothers Anthony (bass) and Randy (guitar) Armstrong joined the stage together before Joe Rickard (drums), and Michael Barnes (vocals) trailed behind them. The crowd became electric with sound as their excitement hit a peak. Many fans were able to hear the newest releases for the first time, heavier and grittier than ever, as each member of the band jumped and filled the space onstage with their bold presence and practiced skills.

Not only do they never fail to impress, but RED is continuing to work on growing ever better, and nothing shows it like this live performance and those to come.
