RAZZ SEARCHES THE NIGHT FOR A DANCE PARTNER — AND POTENTIALLY MORE — ON DARKLY ENTERTAINING ELECTRONICA TRACK “ONE NIGHT”

Electronica and dance music all too often gets the short end of the stick from both critics and consumers alike, being written off as a genre that’s too cold and distant to be taken as “sincere” music. However, RAZZ’s new single, “One Night,” seeks to rectify that complaint in one hell of an addictive house track. With an immediate hook driven by a deep bass and 80’s-inspired synths, “One Night” fits perfectly in the vein of songs played at underground parties when the night needs pumping up after a lull. There’s a dark undercurrent delivered well when paired with the lovely female vocals that sound like a seductive mix of Lana Del Rey and Ariana Grande. There’s even a hint of danger as the pre-chorus and chorus hits, indicating something a bit more sinister — and human — in the lust-filled heat of the night: “When the clock strikes midnight / You gon’ know that it’s time to dance / When the clock strikes midnight / Just lose yourself / ‘Cause we only have one night, baby / ‘Cause we only have on night / So won’t you come a little closer / I don’t bite.” “One Night” is a banger of a dance track and the promise of great things to come for relative newcomer RAZZ, who calls his latest hit a:

“Moody and chill deep house track with catchy dance vibes!”
