Ravenna Golden has been in the shadows helping to formulate the hyper-pop genre since 2016, through collaborations with longtime friend Dylan Brady and 100 gecs, a handful of singles and her debut album “Girl Gone Wild”, and most recently her collaborations on the buzzy Cake Pop 2 album (Dylan Brady, Lewis Grant). She recently signed to Big Beat Records and stepped into the spotlight with her single “R U JOKING” (produced by Dylan Brady), and has much more groundbreaking music waiting in the wings.

Next, on Friday, July 30th, Ravenna unveiled a new track, “Girlfriend Sucks,” an alluring melody with a blend of electronically-rich vocals with a punchy beat and heavy rock elements laced throughout. midwxst joins in during the second verse and offers a contrast of clean vocals intermixed with Ravenna’s tuned and cool ones.
