Here they stand in our midst once again with their emotionally charged tune “Workout”. Released last April 3rd, this was a long awaited one after 2 years of no new content. Available in all major platforms, this lovely piece of music heaven comes with a lyric video which we can all sing to. Karaoke nights, here we come! To top it all off, this is also their 4th year anniversary surprise, aka a birthday gift for all the adoring fans out there.
A song about love and longing, RKS’s “Workout” talks about a couple torn apart by misunderstanding. Listening to it raises the questions, “what happens when love dies before your eyes?” and “when do you let go and walk away?”. Serious queries issued by a broken heart, battered by toxicity and a growing pain that penetrates the soul. As the song would say “We were a team, ‘til you’re toxic. I mean you talk shit often. But once upon a time, we were in love.”. An arrow shot through the heart, it also expresses that regret of ever meeting and loving that certain someone who wrecked us like a devastating tornado. “When I met you, I regret you. Every night’s been a long slide. I’ll let you still admire that song of mine. You like when I sing songs about us.”.
Graced with a true heart of a performer, they are about to embark on a US tour that starts this May 20th and concludes on December 13th. To purchase tickets as well as other tour details, visit their official site. Hurry though because slots are running out quickly!
