Los Angeles-based alternative punk rockers Pushing Veronica release their new hard rock track “Forget You” alongside a brand new music video directed by Directed by Shane O’Neal with cinematography by Deed DeBruno. The new single is an upbeat energetic track about a budding romance that quickly turned sour. Vocals are edgy and sharp showing similarities to the Foo Fighters with the projection and tone Pushing Veronica belts out. Perfectly synced drums and guitar balancing one another out to create that head banging illusion we all know and love.
“Feels just like yesterday we were so tight
We took the world by storm we were alive
Never imagined we’d get off this ride
You chose to walk away and give it up and now its mine
I’ll have to go on alone
But I’ll never forget you”Official lyrics from “Forget You”
“Forget You” music video follows leading lady Miah Green and Pushing Veronica’s lead singer Julien as they walk around town being all cutesy. They are affectionate with one another, shopping at a vinyl store looking like the perfect match. When listening to the lyrics you can just tell this isn’t going to end well. The end of the song closes out with an audio clip of Miah Green ranting and bitching to Julien on how frustrated she is with him and their relationship and the fact that he is always wearing a black t-shirt. It is a nice fun touch as it really ties in the bad ass hardcore vibes that this song emulates. She then rides off with some old biker guy. It is a fun track with lots of layers and high energy that’ll keep you on your toes.
