This past week the world was thrilled by the release of a new iconic duo Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa as they teamed up in their new single, “Prisoner.” The single will also be featured on Miley Cyrus’s new highly-anticipated album “Plastic Hearts,” and brings a pop to rock edgy song. These two have amazing chemistry as friends and artists to bring this new single out with also releasing an electrifying music video. In the music video the two are driving chaotically around NYC in a tour bus to be on a messy party on the bus. The video brings thrilling rock vibes to the table and really shows how the artists bring out the best performances in each other. After getting off the tour bus the duo plays for audience and at the end Cyrus shouts out her old exes that this song and music video goes out to them.

Miley Cyrus speaks with Zane Lowe on this new single and how she thinks it’s probably the best on the album because it speaks to things we are dealing with now, today, and always. This single will be on Cyrus’s upcoming new rock album as she is trying to hit all the genres of music. In this new album, some would say she was born at the wrong time and is bringing back rock at a good time. Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus both have good voices that really go well together in this song as well as performing together.
“We are trapped in our emotions right now and there is no escaping it. Locked up can’t get you off my mind.”
Currently, “Prisoner” is the #1 one in 6 countries and the top 10 in 27 other countries on Apple Music. Miley intros the song but then the drums and guitar and Dua Lipa flows into the song perfectly with her pop vocals. The song is called “Prisoner,” which really talks about being stuck in something that you no longer want to be in or trying to leave emotion or thoughts behind. Miley Cyrus is trying to evolve in her music genre as an artist and a person. On November 27th she will release her new thrilling rock album, “Plastic Hearts” which will tell us more about what she wants to experiment with within this genre of music.
