It is no secret that Mau P has been on a historic run beginning in 2022 with the release of “Drugs From Amsterdam“. The hit track quickly gained popularity worldwide, amassing nearly two hundred million streams across various platforms (including holding a top ten spot on Beatport for over a month) after emerging from the underground scene. Follow up tracks such as “Gimme That Bounce“, “Your Mind Is Dirty“, and “Dress Code” further propelled his trajectory in the dance music realm.
Earlier this year, Mau P kicked off the year with a bang with three major announcements. First, he revealed the upcoming release of his highly anticipated track, “BEATS FOR THE UNDERGROUND“, the unveiling of his new SiriusXM radio program XXX Radio, and lastly announcing his residency at XS Nightclub in Las Vegas. These are the types of accomplishments that for many artists take numerous years, and yet Mau P has done all three in rapid succession. With the year already going so well, we could expect him to continue on with the momentum that he currently has. With his latest single, he has done just that.
We now have Mau P’s next official release, “On Again“, and it is another massive track. This time around the artist decided that production was not the only thing he wanted to do for this one, it was time to pick up the mic and record some vocals himself. If that was not enough of a change, he also made the decision to team up with renowned producer Mike Dean to take the track to even further heights.
The combination of Mau P’s innovative production style with Mike Dean’s signature synth melodies combined to create an incredibly well put together track. The song has begun making it’s rounds across the dance music scene, and this is one we are hearing at club shows and festivals for a long time.
