OSEES Set To Play All Four Nights At This Years Levitation Festival
This years southern LEVITATION has extended its generous hand– got a lot more punk, and we have no other than OSEES to thank for that. Announced within the past few weeks, the Austin based jam has added an essential face to one of their beloved venues at Hotel Vegas. Alongside The Jesus and Mary Chain, King Gizzard & The Wizard Lizard, Os Mutantes, Superorganism, Protomartyr, Viagra Boys, Shame, and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, the west coast fusion force of experimental rock will be joining the stage all four nights. In addition to their sporadic leap back to the stages, the band has been cooking up something good behind closed doors. Their forthcoming album, A Foul Form (dropping August 12th), has peaked with anticipation, and now we get to see the whole thing live both in Texas and around the world. In a discussion about the band, Black Flag’s Henry Rollins spoke words of enticement, leveraging OSEES and their work to its expected praise.
“A Foul Form is a cool pivot from their 2020 studio efforts Metamorphosed, Panther Rotate and Protean Threat. A Foul Form vigorously shakes the Oseesetch a sketch clear so whatever comes next (which will probably be sooner than later) will likely be something completely different yet again.”
