Eccentric, genre-bending artist Oliver Tree has once again captured our attention as he recently released an acoustic version of his latest smash hit “Life Goes On.” The internet-based artist has tapped into and represents the Gen-z era with a consistency that is unmatched by other artists. The track itself is honest and expresses the drain of life and yet he keeps it light with the paired release of a new video that is nothing but comedic kookiness.
The original track was featured on the deluxe edition of Tree’s acclaimed debut album UGLY IS BEAUTIFUL: SHORTER, THICKER & UGLIER. It has now amassed over 440 million streams and 20 million tiktok videos created. Having remixes by Clean Bandit, Ty Dolla $ign and ALOK, the track keeps being brought to new life. This new acoustic version strips it back to create a more intimate listening experience. The resonating rhythm of the piano lets you sink into the vibes as Tree holds onto every word.
