NOTPOP RELEASE “BRAND NEW” ALTERNATIVE ROCK SINGLE

Alt-rock duo from Los-Angeles NOTPOP releases their latest single “Brand New” that will resonate with fans of Boys Like Girls and similar artists. The track is labeled as alternative rock but was inspired by post-modern pop punk. “Brand New” was mixed by Thomas Warren of Stellar House. The track reflects on losing the novelty of life as we get older. NOTPOP perfectly executes the message of the song with addicting rough around the edge vocals. The tempo and authentic sound just keeps you coming back for more. Great use of guitars, drums really capturing the pure essence of a classic alt-rock/pop-punk sound that we all know and love.

NOTPOP just embodies the rebellious spirit of the American youth. Their sound is very guitar-driven and were written late nights fueled by whisky and White Claws. This method has granted the duo a pile of songs that capture the essence of the drunken rant: fighting to succeed in a rattled culture, failed relationships, social unrest, party-escapism, suicide, finding love in a chaotic world, and simply having a beer with your mates. NOTPOP is one hundred percent independent and homegrown. They drunkenly swerves between the worlds of alternative, punk and pop while staying rooted in the organic sound of rock.
