Nostalgix brings the heat to the desert opening for Marten Hørger – Presented by Holy House

If you consider yourself an avid bass or house fan, and are yet to know Nostalgix’s name or music, you will certainly be questioned. She has been making waves throughout the electronic scene for the past several years, particularly around the time the pandemic started, unfortunately. Right after making her debut in the states opening for AC Slater in St. Louis, shows closed down for a long time. However, that didn’t stop her at all, and she was able to connect and grow her relationship with fans through socials and consistently releasing new music to enjoy.

What makes Nostalgix’s shows unique are first off that she’s a woman behind the decks, but also her personality shines through her performances. She isn’t there to be the “cool guy” on the stage, but to make you meet her level of energy – which works. The crowd was so excited throughout her set – old fans were over the moon to see her play and new fans were asking “what is this girl’s name?? I need to know!” Her set was filled with popular tracks such as Badman (released on Thrive) and Snitches (released on Confession), as well as teased unreleased IDs. Her set felt very original, compared to just playing the Beatport top 10. If she’s coming to a city near you, be sure to catch the show as she is currently doing meet & greets after her sets – saying hello to fans and signing autographs! Concluding her set, Marten joined her on stage with a big hug as she passed over the decks.
