#NMF Dance: Our Picks For The Week

New music from Sara Landry x Electric Universe, Above & Beyond, LEVITY x K.Flay, and more on New Music Friday.

1. Sara Landry, Electric Universe – “Divine Intervention”

Sara Landry hits full force with Divine Intervention, a 14-track sophomore album that pushes hard dance into bold new territory. Previously spotlighted in NMF, each track reveals a different side of Landry’s sound like “Interesting” and “Awakening”. Ahead of these treasures, the title track “Divine Intervention” brings Landry and Electric Universe ’s creative vision into sharp focus. While fusing hard bounce, psy-techno, and hardstyle with Landry’s signature playful edge, they gorgeously applied intricate drum patterns, punchy percussion, and relentless rhythmic energy, the track feels destined to become a peak-time club weapon

2. Alesso, Kaitlin Aragon – “Fight For Love”

Alesso teams up with Kaitlin Aragon on “Fight For Love,” a dark, cinematic dance anthem that trades festival joy for haunting intensity. Driven by Aragon’s powerful vocals, pulsating basslines, and sweeping violin melodies, the track perfectly turns devotion into an electrifying rush of emotion. To celebrate “Fight For Love,” Alesso takes his music to new heights with a special open-air performance on the 86th floor of New York City’s Empire State Building on October 15.

3. Above & Beyond – “Nights Like This”

Above & Beyond “Nights Like This,” a soaring anthem first unveiled in their EDC Las Vegas sunrise set. “Nights Like This” now sets the stage for the Anjunabeats UK Warehouse Tour, kicking off October 16 across four cities. Looking ahead, the legendary trio will ring in 2027 at San Francisco’s 1015 Folsom, celebrating the venue’s 40th anniversary and honoring four decades of dance music history. Tickets are available HERE.

4. LEVITY, K.FLAY — “SLIPPING AWAY”

LEVITY and K.Flay unleash “SLIPPING AWAY,” an energetic collision of bass-heavy production, soaring melodies, and raw alternative-rock emotion. Fueled by K.Flay’s electrifying vocals and an unstoppable build of energy, the track delivers the ultimate dancefloor release. It turns a sweat-soaked night into a powerful rush of healing and exhilaration. Overall, “SLIPPING AWAY” leaves listeners riding an emotional high and ready to take on tomorrow with renewed power.

5. Odd Mob & Goodboys, SCRIPT- “Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind”

Odd Mob, SCRIPT, and Goodboys bring midnight heat with “Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind,” a hypnotic tech house cut from Odd Boys via Insomniac Records. Goodboys’ warm, seductive vocals meet Odd Mob’s inventive production and SCRIPT’s gritty, punk-inspired edge. Based on their dark grooves, cinematic synths, and punchy basslines, the track turns romantic tension into pure dancefloor temptation.

#NewMusicFriday: Our Picks for the Week

New music from YOASOBI, Blu DeTiger, Niko Rubio, and more on New Music Friday.

1. YOASOBI – “Sakihokore (The Bloom)”

YOASOBI bring a burst of morning sunshine with “Sakihokore (The Bloom).” This is the official theme song for NHK’s morning drama Blossom. Featuring their first-ever live orchestral recording alongside acoustic unit Plusonica, the track transforms a story of resilience across Japan’s Meiji, Taisho, and Showa eras into a sweeping, uplifting J-pop anthem. Undoubtedly, the bright, cinematic, and full-of-life “Sakihokore” is the ultimate morning-commute vitamin and a pitch-perfect Asadora theme.

2. Henry Morris – “High All the Time”(feat. G-Eazy)

Henry Morris teams up with G-Eazy on “High All the Time,” a seductive indie-pop crossover from his upcoming album Kiss Me Extra Hard, arriving October 23. Blending Morris’s raw, vulnerable storytelling with G-Eazy’s sharp rap delivery, the track explores the addictive rush of love, lust, and longing. Intimate yet intoxicating, “High All the Time” turns the desperate desire to relive romance’s honeymoon phase into a bittersweet confession.

3. TÉODORA – “call it home”

TÉODORA strips her dark-pop and R&B sound down to its emotional core with “call it home,” a haunting new single powered by her commanding vocals. Built on intimate piano melodies and delicate synths, the track turns homesickness, loneliness, and longing into an ethereal confession. Caught between chasing a new life and missing the one left behind, “call it home” proves that TÉODORA’s most powerful moments need nothing more than her voice and raw emotion.

4.Blu DeTiger – “Makeup”

Blu DeTiger strips dance music back to its rawest groove with “Makeup,” a bass-driven standout from her upcoming sophomore album N.Y. Baby, arriving November 6. Inspired by ESG’s minimalist funk, the track blends punchy drums, spoken vocals, and irresistible boogie-sleaze swagger into a hazy after-hours rush. Indeed, “Makeup” captures the disorienting morning after a night when identity, fantasy, and nostalgia collide long after the party ends.

5. Niko Rubio – “all i want is you”

Niko Rubio turns heartbreak into a haunting trip-hop ballad with “all i want is you,” a deeply personal standout from her debut album late night swim. While “dream,” previously spotlighted in NMF HERE, captured the chill escape of a late-night unwind. By contrast, “all i want is you” feels like the blue hour, when fading daylight gives way to bittersweet longing. The raw, vulnerable, and beautifully melancholic track reveals Rubio’s greatest emotional exposure, ahead of her October 28 album celebration at L.A.’s Grammy Museum.
