#NMF Dance: Our Picks For The Week
NMF Dance brings new music from Sara Landry, Alt8, Mersiv, and more!
1. Sara Landry, Alt8 – “Hands Up”
Sara Landry reunites with Alt8 on “Hands Up,” a full-throttle hard dance banger specifically for summer nights. Led by a relentless kick and energetic bounce, the track feels fast, sexy, and reckless without losing its carefree spark. Rather than sounding mechanical, “Hands Up” brings a cheeky, euphoric tension to the dancefloor, landing somewhere between warehouse heat and dark summer midnight parade.
2. DJ CALLUSH – “Delicious”
DJ CALLUSH returns with “Delicious,” a bold, decadent hard techno cut built with fierce, unforgiving force. Driven by a turbocharged beat and the viral repetition of “so delicious,” the single turns its spelling-like vocal hook into something instantly addictive. Undoubtedly, “Delicious” feels relentless, playful, and impossible to shake—made to pull listeners straight into CALLUSH’s high-voltage techno world.
3. HNTR & Juicy J – “Holla At A Player”
HNTR joins forces with Juicy J on “Holla At A Player,” a high-octane collision of techno and hip-hop. Ferocious from the start, the track pairs HNTR’s ominous underground sound with a hard-hitting bassline, while Juicy J’s commanding bars build straight into a raw, heavy drop. Bringing rap to the rave, “Holla At A Player” already proved its fantastic live power with a standout moment at EDC Las Vegas 2026.
4. GRiZ x Big Gigantic – “Rump Shaker”
GRiZ opens a bold new chapter with “Rump Shaker,” the lead single from his long-awaited album Future Funk Volume 1. Reuniting with Big Gigantic after over a decade of shared history, the track feels like a perfect collision of saxophone, bass, and pure festival energy. Built on explosive brass, groove-heavy production, and funk-forward momentum, “Rump Shaker” sets the tone for an era rooted in movement, instinct, and emotional connection.
5. Mersiv – “Youngest Daughter (Remix)”
Mersiv officially remixes Superheaven’s “Youngest Daughter,” giving the alt cult favorite a new cinematic bass life. He not only loses the original’s grunge-soaked ache, but he also amplifies it with immersive low-end textures, darker tension, and live-ready weight. Written during summer 2025 and now arriving as an official release in summer 2026, the remix feels both nostalgic and reborn.

#NewMusicFriday: Our Picks for the Week
New music from Alex Warren, Weezer, Kami Kehoe, and more on New Music Friday.
1. Alex Warren – “PASSENGER”
Alex Warren releases “PASSENGER,” a bright, feel-good single from his upcoming sophomore album WILDCHILD. Put on your headphones, and the track feels like a joyful after-work therapy ride, turning daily exhaustion into something lighter and hopeful. Carried by Warren’s rich, soulful vocals, “PASSENGER” captures the softer side of healing while keeping its summer-ready warmth.
2. Joji – “Bluffin’ “(with The Kid LAROI)
Joji teams up with The Kid LAROI on “Bluffin’,” a bright, restless deluxe highlight from Piss in the Wind Deluxe. The single successfully combines Joji’s shadowy alt-pop edge with The Kid LAROI’s melodic rush. Indeed, the release arrives ahead of Joji’s international SOLARIS TOUR later this month.
3. Weezer – “We Might As Well Be Strangers” (ft. Wednesday)
Weezer share “We Might As Well Be Strangers” featuring Wednesday, a breezy collaboration that pairs Rivers Cuomo and Karly Hartzman’s vocals with fresh drums and easygoing band energy. The song feels like a relaxed high school summer afternoon, carrying the loose joy of playing music with friends. At the same time, it fits naturally into Weezer’s latest era, where the band reflects on aging, legacy, and still moving forward with sharp humor and timeless charm.
4. Emei – “What’s The Point!”
Emei releases “What’s The Point!,” a sharp, fast-moving single from her upcoming Night At The Opera EP. Built on organ, strings, off-kilter beats, and her brisk vocal delivery, the track turns grief into something bright, blunt, and explosive. Meanwhile, Emei captures the anger that follows loss, making “What’s The Point!” feel like a cathartic crash-out wrapped in bold pop momentum.
5. Kami Kehoe – “DIRTY”
Kami Kehoe returns with “DIRTY,” her most seductive single yet. Following the spiral of “PSYCHO,” the track leans into a slower, darker burn, turning desire and self-destruction into something raw, dangerous, and magnetic. As explored in Glasse Factory’s previous interview, Kami’s self-built, genre-bending world fuses punk energy, alt-pop vulnerability, and rock grit—an instinct that feels even sharper here.
