New Music Friday: Flying by Kéwork

Share
Share

Named after Saint George the dragon-slayer and the Armenian freedom fighter Kevork Chavush, Kéwork seeks to lead a musical uprising of his own. With more than a decade of private piano lessons and an E-Music Bachelor’s degree from the Conservatorium Inholland Haarlem under the belt, he combines synthesizers with his own vocals and lyrics to create unique sounds and resonating messages. The goal? Inspiring people to do what they love.

Following a feature on New Music Friday: Netherlands, the track made it’s way to our ears and we have been keeping it on repeat. Kéwork’s vocal style reminds us of Usher and Mike Posner, and the production is as if Griz were leading an early 2000’s orchestra + rock band. It’s safe to say we love this track, and you should add it to your playlists too!
