Do you like music? What about festivals? Or social media? If your answer to all these questions is a resounding yes. Then we’ve got a treat for you. Enter Anthems, the app of the future that combines the power of music, the magic of festivals and the power of social media.
Developed by a California company named, Anthems Media. This exciting new app aims to elevate our already existing Spotify playlists and turn them into a show of their own. The magic here lies in transforming our song lists into our very own music fest. The cool thing about is it also comes with a nifty poster. There you’ll be able to see the lineup of performers per day just like an actual music event. Its social aspect comes in the form of making them shareable with fellow app users whether they’re your friend or not. Yes, you heard that right, you can add friends in this app too because it functions similarly to and actual social media app. It doesn’t stop there though because its interactivity extends to discovering new songs from other users. Which you can do either by opening the app where a song will be ready to listen or through them discover section which you could access with the explore tab. If you do end up liking the track, you could tap on the heart icon, and it’ll automatically be saved in your Spotify mixtape. There’s also a comment section you can express your thoughts on if you’re feeling extra spicy or satisfied with what you just heard.

Even with this list of capabilities, Anthems is still in beta testing as of today and could only be accessed via invitation only. With that, it’s actual launch is still up in the air. There are still a lot of uncertainties wrapped surrounding it, and yet music fans everywhere are still looking at this with glittery eyes because this could be it. Who could blame them though? It’s got the trio of bliss in its corner which could make everyone go ooh and ahh.
Its projected potential is undeniable and could very well inject that extra jolt of energy the music industry needs. But till then, all we could do right now is sit tight with anticipation.
