NETTE RELEASES HER FIRST SINGLE OF 2023 “KARMA”
Singer, song writer and producer Nette released “Karma” as her first single for this year and it was produced entirely by her. Compared to her other singles, “Karma” has a darker vibe with lots of interesting ear candy that she sprinkled throughout to keep you on your toes. “Karma” is an electro-pop track with a haunting vibe that makes you not want to mess with Nette. Certain areas of the song reminds me of thriller mixed with some Halsey (vocal standpoint) as it features creaking doors, screams and that sinister feeling that you need to watch your back. “Karma” is of course stating the classic line that she is in fact a bitch. Nette is giving a warning to whoever messes with her that you will reap what you sow because karma will always come and collect.
“The song personifies Karma as a vengeful (*respectfully*) b!tch who always wins in the end. Whether your boyfriend cheated on you or someone keyed your car it’s a song to remind you what goes around comes around. Also maybe a song to do some witchy voodoo on your enemies too.”
