Music Video for Latest Single from Debut Album by The King’s Parade

How long has it been since you last heard a powerhouse indie pop rock anthem driven with nostalgic chords and inspirational melodies? It’s been since last month for me! When UK alt-pop 4-piece The King’s Parade released their single “How Long?” I immediately added it to our Release Radar. I haven’t heard a song like this in a while, but it feels symbolic, like Young The Giant’s “Cough Syrup.”

Even the music video has this homey essence of everyone working on their respective projects in the studio, spontaneous jam sessions as front man Olly makes his rounds from person to person, and the building, explosive energy of things changing and new things coming. Things aren’t quite right around the studio until Olly rounds the troops and pieces everything back together. The nostalgic howls of chanting “how long?” in the bridge of the song bring that sentiment to life.
