MOONLABYTE RELEASES THEIR VERY FIRST PROJECT “OUTER RAIN”

Extracted from their upcoming album Bridges, Moonlabyte shared the very first single off the project called “Outer Rain.” The track starts out so softly as if you’re floating through space then BOOM in comes sick guitar riffs and hardcore drums turning this song into metal-core. Although “Outer Rain” is modern it is laced with melancholic traits and aggressive instrumentals. Moonlabyte created alternations of electronic production and distorted guitars making an oscillation of solids and voids. The two sounds are chasing each other following the central theme of separation exposed in the lyrics. Moonlabyte describes “Outer Rain” as two people, once so close, now perceive, in thinking of each other, only a void, accompanied by a dull nostalgia for what was not. One wonders, really, if today the two met for the first time, would they ever choose to love each other? Now, that is poetic and it’s all combined into one badass song.
