After teasing it for nearly three months, Michal Leah and Caleb Hearn have finally shared their new single, “Think I’m Gonna Love You.” The song is the first the newly-engaged couple has written and released together, and you can truly feel how special it is to them.

Written about their love story, “Think I’m Gonna Love You” is an acoustic ballad with heartfelt lyrics that reveal the authentic feelings Leah and Hearn had for each other during the early stages of their relationship. The song originates from the meaningful phrase “I think I’m gonna love you,” which is what they used to tell each other when they were too scared to say “I love you.”

I think I’m gonna love you

I think I’m gonna bring you home

And I think every little moment

Will lead us right where we should go

I think we’re gonna learn how

Forever’s gonna feel, I know

You can’t make every wish come true

But I think I’m gonna love you

As Leah and Hearn sing every word together, their warm, gentle voices hug each other, reflecting the dear love they share in their relationship. To preserve the authenticity and vulnerability of the song, the instrumental production is kept simple, allowing the intimate meaning of the lyrics to shine through.

Accompanying the single is a lyric video that features the couple slow dancing to the last line of the song in what appears to be a living room. Then, as the guitar drops out and the last two words–”love you”–are sung, Leah and Hearn leave us with a sweet visual of them hugging while the screen fades to black.

Though Leah has not confirmed any upcoming shows, fans of Hearn can look forward to seeing him perform live as a special guest during Dylan Matthew’s “no rain, no flowers tour.” The tour kicks off Sept. 22 in San Diego and will stop in more than 20 cities across the U.S. before wrapping Oct. 26 in Los Angeles.
