Masters of emotional hits, longtime Emo band Mayday Parade reveal new single and video, ‘One For The Rocks and One For The Scary.’ The band announced an upcoming full-length album, “What It Means To Fall Apart,” on November 19. As part of their debut album, the band released a jaunty track, ‘Kids of Summer’,  an ode to nostalgic memories of former years attending Warp Tour. Lastly, heart-stricken ‘Bad At Love’, is a prequel to ‘One For The Rocks and One For The Scary’ music video.

Mayday Parade, ‘One For The Rocks and One For The Scary’ is about cherishing moments with those you love and spending time together.  Mayday Parade’s seventh studio album, What It Means To Fall Apart, came to be after collaborated with Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount. Bandmates came together to write 12 incredible tracks, despite living in different states and working on their projects, EPs, or solos. The band is ecstatic to return to the emo punk-pop music scene and share new songs with former and new fans.

‘One For The Rocks and One For The Scary’ music video directed by Katherine White set outdoors in a backyard, intimate acoustic set. Sanders serenades into a swarm of people, gentle guitar picking and lovely falsetto vocals, “We can do anything you wanna do/We can do everything/we’ll start right here in this room/ just don’t take off too soon.” A young couple appears holding each other and happily gazing into each other’s eyes. Former couples in ‘Bad At Love’ appear in this music video, verbally fighting until friends break them up, but they reconcile towards the end, dancing into a crowd.

Get ready for some emotional outpouring, dive back to 2000s emo nostalgia, “What It Means To Fall Apart” will be a Fall album to remember. Mayday Parade US tours 2021, Emo Nite Vegas Vacation, Chain Fest, and The Rock Boat XX1
