On November 9 of this year, acclaimed singer and songwriter Matteo Bocelli shares a raw and emotional performance of his acoustic single, “Solo.” The music video features the artist performing the piece through his voice and accompaniment on the piano in a studio in Milan.

“Solo” was originally released by Capitol Records in September of this year along with the original official video, which was shot in the Dolomites Mountains in Italy. Gaetano Morbioli, who also helmed the official video for “Fall on Me,” directed Matteo alongside his father, opera legend Andrea Bocelli, in this sweeping video. According to Euphoria Magazine, “Solo” is “pop perfection, a perfect debut single…irresistibly catchy and relatable. You need this artist on your radar.”  Combined global multiplatform streams of “Solo” now exceed three million.

Matteo Bocelli’s musical journey began when he was a child. By age six, he was learning piano, and at 18 he debuted on stage to sing Verdi at the Rome Colosseum. Bocelli first stepped into the spotlight on “Fall On Me” with his father, an English/Italian song that he co-wrote with Ian Axel and Chad King (of A Great Big World) and Fortunato Zampaglione for his father’s 2018 album Si. The song was later featured on Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms soundtrack with the single accumulating nearly 300 million global streams.

Matteo, who is graduating at the Conservatory of Lucca in Tuscany, has also performed at numerous exclusive locations, including Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl as well as on numerous television programs, including “Dancing with the Stars,” Colbert, “Good Morning America,” “Royal Family Variety Performance” and “Strictly Come Dancing.”
