Singer-songwriter, Maisie Peters, signs with the famed Ed Sheeran’s label, Gingerbread Man Records, and is set to release her debut album, You Signed Up For This, this August. The gentle songstress, known for her work in the Soundtrack for Apple TV’s Trying: Season 2, and her hit 2018 single, Worst of You, is setting a strong path for her upcoming 2021 projects to prepare for the album’s release.
“I feel like I’ve spent every day since I was 12 and picked up a terrible nylon string guitar and wrote my first song waiting for this moment. It’s been years of train rides and bus journeys, sleeping in spare rooms and on sofas, writing and writing and writing hoping that I could make something special and important and necessary. Mainly hoping that I could make something I love. I am so happy that I really can say with my whole entire heart that I L O V E this album.”
Sheeran, who’s been a fan of her work since the era of Feel’s Like This and Place We Were Made, has also partnered with Peters in three of her upcoming tracks for this album, building high anticipation among fans of both artists in what’s to come from the 21-year-old talent.
Maisie Peters will be giving fans a sneak peek into her latest work through the single, Psycho, which will be available to stream next Friday, July 2nd. Fans are able to pre-order and save the album and song but don’t forget to mark your calendars for July 2nd and August 27th for Peters’ upcoming releases!
