14-year-old Madeline Burns captivates listeners with her booming voice and incredible range in her latest emotionally charged pop ballad, “Congratulations.” Dedicating her message to a manipulative and narcissistic individual, she uses her powerful vocals and excellent control to evoke strong emotions within her listeners, marking her as an artist to watch even at such a young age.

Madeline Burns is no stranger to the stage. Singing and acting since she was six, performing is something she has always loved to do. With her big voice and wide vocal range, she has been touted for her incredible artistic sense. Her natural ability to marry original lyrics with the right melodies is a skill well beyond her years. Although she is new to the songwriting arena, she is already finding ways to engage with listeners.

“Congratulations” infuses a mix of live drums, guitar, and keys with quality synth to evoke a powerful listener response. Paired with the evocative soundscape are intense vocals. There’s no escaping the amount of power that resonates within the production, eclipsed only by the power within Madeline’s vocals. A slow, steady build leads to an unpredictable bridge. A hastened pace leads into an explosive vocal ending, giving the song a sense of finality that reflects the sentiments of the lyrics.
