On February 15, professional open format DJ and producer Logan Garrett released his first major record, “Pitted,” featuring indie party rapper Roscoe Dash. “Pitted” will be featuring on Logan’s label, Background Energy, and is accompanied by a music video filmed by Hadley Kelsey.

“Pitted” can be described as a transcendental experience of the EDM and dance genre. A dubstep anthem, highlighted by a crooning vocal performance from Roscoe, “Pitted” crests and plateaus into a steady, seductive beat, tapering abruptly off with a careless curse and an echoing reverb. It’s no shy performance, and an uproarious musical start for the DJ.

For the last four and plus years, Logan Garrett has been keeping busy with working on original music and artist management. Based in Nashville, he’s just started to begin releasing original music to the public in a series of short and abstract sounds starting in January of 2020. He has managed notable tours and clients, including the Starlito & Don Trip’s “Karate in The Garage” tour, which visited 43 cities nationwide. Logan also became a resident DJ at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red in Nashville. This up-and-coming DJ and producer will surely deliver more artistic excellence in the years to come.

Roscoe Dash came onto the indie party rap scene in 2009 with the club track, “All the Way Turnt Up!” Originally called ATL, a moniker he used when he became friendly and then fell out from the local hip-hop crew Travis Porter, Roscoe became the solo artist known as Roscoe Dash and signed with the major label Interscope. Roscoe released his debut album. Ready Set Go! in November of 2010, as the club track surged to heights of popularity. His second album, J.U.I.C.E., followed in 2011.
